The first appearance of the ubiquitous Gibson ES-335 is in the Flourella promo video where Chad can be seen playing an early 90's model cherry red ES-335 unmodified with it's original tailpiece.

"I found it secondhand, played it once and fell in love with it. I've had a Bigsby fitted too, which I don't use much onstage, but in the studio we use it for sound effects and stuff."

The Bigsby mentioned that was installed on this guitar is a vintage Gibson produced tremolo unit very similar to a Bigsby. The tremolo effect can clearly be heard at the end of Railings and was used extensively in tracks like ICODU and Take It Easy Chicken.

This guitar was continually used on every Mansun tour.
