==History==
This is the <nowiki>{{ombox}}</nowiki> or '''other pages message box''' meta-template.

It is used to build generic-looking message box templates such as <nowiki>{{</nowiki>[[Template:Historical|historical]]<nowiki>}}</nowiki>. It should be used in instances where <nowiki>{{ambox}}</nowiki> does not suffice, which is usually on pages outside of the Main namespace (such as policy and help pages).

This template is a derived work. It is, however, NOT exactly the same as Wikipedia's template of the same name! All CSS has been integrated into the template, and therefore some features are not available. However it is still a very useful template!

==Usage==
Example to display a notice:

The code above should return:
{{ombox
| text = Hello world!
}}

===Changing the image===

You can change the image by applying the <code>| image</code> parameter. For example, you could add <nowiki>[[Image:Historical.svg|30px|left]]</nowiki> to change the icon into an archive icon.
